Guidelines

Once you have read these, apply now
Please
read these guidelines carefully to ensure you meet the requirement
of this
competition.
Entrants
Godspeak Film Festival has two entry categories: Under 18 and
18+ . The greatest percentage of the work must be done by the
people within the age group specified.
Content, format, length etc.
The short film must:
- be
either a drama, sitcom, documentary or animation. The
entry may be filmed in black and white, or colour
using people,
puppets or cartoons,
- explore the theme of
grace in some form,
- be submitted on VHS
tape,
- be a maximum of 15 minutes
in duration, excluding credits,
- be made in 2004.

Along with films
at submission, entrants in addition must provide;
- a list of the passages of scripture used,
- a copy of
the script,
- a short summary of the reasons behind the chosen
setting and genre for the film,
- names and ages of all those
involved in the production, writing and directing of the
film.
Judging
Films will be judged on Biblical context, production and filming techniques.
The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners
National winners will be notified by mail and details will be displayed on
the Godspeak website.
Prizes will be presented by a Bible Society representative within your state,
in person.
Copyright etc
All entries will become the property of the Bible Society and may be used for
promotional purposes by the Society in the future. Copyright of the film
always remains the filmmakers.
Bible Society reserves the right to submit winning films to the Australian
Christian Channel for screening.
