P R I V A C Y   P O L I C Y

Godspeak is a ministry of The Bible Society in Australia and how we view privacy is defined under the general Bible Society in Australia Privacy Statement that can be viewed here. In addition to the general privacy policy guidelines mentioned in this statement, the following applies specifically to Godspeak.

Cookies

Cookies are small chunks of data that are stored on your computer by a website such as Godspeak. Each time you visit the website this data can be read and updated by the site that originally stored the data on your computer. Cookies can not contain viruses or secretly read personal information about you. Cookies are used in two areas: shopping and member logon. As you travel from page to page, Godspeak stores the items you have added to your shopping in a cookie. This cookie is lost when you close your browser or when you are inactive for an extended period of time. If you are logged onto Godspeak as a member, your user information is loaded into a cookie. This allows Godspeak to auto-fill order forms and remember that you are logged on as you move from page to page.

Membership

When you sign up as a member, Godspeak creates a member account in our online database. You are able to select whether you would like to receive Godspeak emails (including newsletter an other announcements about current events, campaigns etc.) and/or third party emails. Godspeak will not send you electronic communication unless you tick this box.

User Information

Godspeak reads information such as your browser and what browser features you have enabled. This is so warning messages can be displayed if Godspeak is incompatible with your browser configuration. Godspeak may also record information such as pages viewed, country of origin, your referring URL etc. for the purposes of producing total and average usage statistics.
