Terms of Use
By using the Godspeak website, which includes but not limited
to viewing pages, submitting information, reading the forum
and/or becoming a member, you are stating that you have read
and agree to the following terms and conditions. The Godspeak
website and its services (hereon referred to as 'Godspeak')
refer to all content and services available at www.godspeak.info
including, but not limited to the forum, content pages, online
magazine(s) and member newsletter. Godspeak is a ministry
of The Bible Society in Australia. All references to Godspeak
as a corporate entity refer to The Bible Society in Australia
(hereon referred to as 'The Bible Society').
The Bible Society carefully selects and screens information
that is published on Godspeak in most areas of the site except
for the forum. Messages in the forum are posted by members
and are not viewed by The Bible Society staff before being
made available for public viewing. The membership system is
automatic and open to anyone prepared to subscribe to the
Terms of Use. Subscriptions are a privilege that can be cancelled
or withdrawn at any time. The Bible Society does not accept
responsibility for the opinions or content posted by users
to the forum.
Links to other websites are provided in some articles at Godspeak.
Additionally, 3rd party media content is included in some
articles. Godspeak provides the links and embedded media for
information and interest purposes only. While every care is
taken, The Bible Society does not accept responsibility for
any part of linked websites, and further, gives no endorsement
whatever their contents.
Godspeak offers e-mail newsletter services, forum services
and a variety of content for your benefit. You agree to use
the forum only to post, send and receive messages and material
that are proper and relevant to the specified topic. By way
of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using
the site or its services, you will not:
- Use Godspeak in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid
schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative
or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise).
- Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise
violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and
publicity) of others.
Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate,
profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic,
name, material or information.
- Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any
topic, name, material or information that incites discrimination,
hate or violence towards one person or a group because
of their belonging to a race, a religion or a nation,
or that insults the victims of crimes against humanity
by contesting the existence of those crimes.
- Upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain
images, photographs, software or other material protected
by intellectual property laws, including, by way of example,
and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws (or
by rights of privacy or publicity) unless you own or control
the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents
to do the same.
- Use any material or information, including text, video,
sound images or photographs, which is made available through
the Godspeak in any manner that infringes any copyright,
trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary
right of any party.
- Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or
other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels
of the origin or source of software or other material
contained in a file that is uploaded.
- Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying
the site and its services
- Harvest or otherwise collect information about others,
including e-mail addresses.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading
others.
- Use, download or otherwise copy, or provide (whether
or not for a fee) to a person or entity any directory
of users of Godspeak or other user or usage information
or any portion thereof.
- The Bible Society has no obligation to monitor the site
and services (including the forum). However, The Bible
Society reserves the right to review materials posted
to Godspeak (including the forum and article database)
and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. The
Bible Society reserves the right to terminate your access
to any or all of the site or services at any time, without
notice, for any reason whatsoever.
The Bible Society reserves the right at all times to disclose
any information as The Bible Society deems necessary to satisfy
any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental
request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information
or materials, in whole or in part, in The Bible Society's
sole discretion.
Always use caution when giving out any personally identifiable
information about yourself or your children at any website.
The Bible Society does not necessarily control or endorse
the content, messages or information found at Godspeak, especially
in the forum and, therefore, The Bible Society specifically
disclaims any liability with regard to Godspeak and any actions
resulting from you using the site.
